BBa_J51002 1 BBa_J51002 ComQX 2006-10-24T11:00:00Z 2015-08-31T03:54:04Z This part was PCR amplified from Bacillus subtilis 168 genomic DNA. The ComQX part contains the two genes which are required for the synthesis of the ComX pheromone, used for Quorum-sensing in Bacillus subtilis. The ComX gene codes for the pro-protein, and the ComQ is a modifying protein (it is currently unclear what the exact role of ComQ is). The fully mature ComX pheromone is a 10-residue secreted peptide that is modified by farnesylated or isoprenylated, depending on the strain. NOTE: ComQXPA systems are specific for their cognate strains. This ComQX 'sender' module was isolated from the laboratory strain 168. false false _75_ 0 948 75 Not in stock false blah false Peter Nguyen annotation1904961 1 ComQ range1904961 1 1 900 annotation1904962 1 ComX range1904962 1 888 1068 BBa_J51002_sequence 1 atgaaggagattgtggagcaaaacatatttaacgaggatttgtcacaacttctttactcatttattgattctaaagaaacattctcctttgctgaatcctcaatcttacattatgttgtttttggaggggagaatttagatgttgcaacaaggcttggcgcgggaatagaaattcttattctttcatcagatattatggatgatcttgaagatgaagataatcaccatgcattatggatgaaaattaatcgctcggagtcgttaaatgcagcactttccttgtatacagtaggattaacgagtatttattcattaaataacaatcctctaatttttaaatatgttttaaaatacgtaaacgaggccatgcaaggtcaacatgacgatatcactaataaatctaaaacagaagatgaaagtttagaagtaattagattaaaatgtggaagtctgattgcactagcaaatgtagcaggtgttttattggctacaggagaatataatgaaacagttgaaagatattcctactataaagggattatagctcaaatttctggagattattatgttcttttatccggaaatcgcagtgatattgaaaaaaacaaacatacactgatttacttatatcttaagcgcctttttaatgatgcttcggaagatttattatacttaatttcacataaagacttatattataaatcgttacttgataaagagaaattccaagaaaaattaattaaagcgggagttactcaatacatttcggtattattggaaatatataaacagaaatgtatttctgctatagaacaattaaatttagataaagaaaaaaaagagctaataaaggaatgcttattaagttatacaaagggggatacaagatgcaagacctaaatgcaagacctaattaactactttttaaattatcctgaggctttaaaaaaattgaaaaataaagaagcctgccttataggttttgatgtgcaagaaactgaaacaataattaaagcttataatgattattatctggctgatccaataacccgtcaatggggtgattaa igem2sbol 1 iGEM to SBOL conversion Conversion of the iGEM parts registry to SBOL2.1 Chris J.
