We needed a repressor which could be induced by a "signal" in order to inhibit the RcnA(BBa_K119003, BBa_K119009) activity. We achieved this by taking advantage of the LuxR promoter present in the Chiba device BBa_I729006. So, we placed cI downstream of this promoter and changed the promoter which was controlling aiiA for the LacZ one.
