This part comes from a standerized IGEM biobricks PSB1C3 plasmid.
This part contains the vector PGAPzα A + modified Multiple Cloning Site(MCS) fixed according to iGEM standards. We replaced the MCS with DNA ligase kit plate part(BBa_K525710). PGAPzα A + Linker has α-secretion factor before the DNA ligase kit plate part, which allows yeast cells and some Eukaryotic cells to secrete the protein outside of the cell membrane after translation. Following the insert there is a MYC epitope tag and 6x histag. These are used to tag the protein so it can be easily identified by westernblot technique.
