    Description

    This is the coding sequence for Pfu DNA Polymerase from Pyrococcus furiousis. This heat stable polymerase can be used in PCR reactions as a self editing alternative to Taq polymerase.

    Notes

    The main considerations were enzyme extraction and purification. We plan to test specific enzyme extraction and purification protocols and characterize Pfu polymerase efficiency in PCR.
