Hydrophobins are amphipathic, which means they have the hydrophobic part and hydropholic part at the same time. HFBI is a kind of hydrophobins and it has magic properties. We combine GFP with HFBI by a linker and make them become a fusion protein. This fusion protein could be used in aqueous two-phase systems to make itself seperated frome mixture.
