Invasin with LysM signal peptide (Lactococcus)

The invasin gene was originally source by the Warsaw 2009 team from the bacterium Yersinia something or other.
Invasin enables bacteria to invade mammalian cells via beta-integrin mediated endocytosis. Invasin was codon optimised for Lactococcus species, and the lactococcal LysM signal peptide was added to localise it to the outermembrane when used to transform Lactococcus species.
