BBa_K1897003 1 BBa_K1897003 HasS antisigma factor coding sequence 2016-10-08T11:00:00Z 2016-10-18T01:29:52Z The HasS gene is originally found in the Serratia marcescens. We obtained the gene sequence from the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) database (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/nuccore/X81195.2) and synthesised the gene. HasR is the membrane-bound receptor in the Has system, a heme acquisition system originally from the Serratia marcescens. The HasR protein is involved in binding with a heme-loaded HasA hemophore to trigger downstream HasS and HasI. It has been shown that the N terminal of HasR is especially crucial for signal transduction. With the heme-loaded hasA bound to hasR, it induces a conformational change in HasR that causes the activation of HasS, an anti-sigma factor. HasS then releases HasI (sigma factor) that was initially bound to it and HasI ultimately is able to trigger expression of genes under control of pHas (part number). false false _2363_ 29428 29428 9 false NIL false Choi Yan Ru BBa_K1897003_sequence 1 atgaaaccgctaaccgcacaggcgcgacagcaggcggccgcctgggccgtgagtctggccgaaggggcgctgccggccgatcggcggcgagcgttggacgcctggctggccgccgatccgcagcatccggcggcgctgcgtcaggctcgcctgctatggacgacgcttgggcaactgccgcctgagcagcggcaggcgttacaaccgcaggtggcggcgctgaaaacgccatctcgccatcgatggccccgctgggcggtggcagcggcggtggcgctcgccgtttcattcggcgtttatcgcgggccggatctgtggatccgcctacaagccgattatcaaaccgttcgcggtgaggtgcgcgaagttgcgttgccggacggcagccgggtggcgctggacagcggcagcgcgatcgcgctggcgtattccgcagacgagcgcaaggtgcggctgctgagcggcgccgcctattttatcgtcgcgccgttgggcggggcggaaagccgccctttcagggtggaggcgaaaaacggcgtcacccaggcgctgggcaccgagttcagcgtggcgcgcactgaacagggcgtcgacgtcagcgtgcatcagcacagcgtgcgggtgacgcttgagcgcggcgagcgctcgctggtggtcgcgcaacgccaggcggcgcattaccgcaacgggcagctacaactgacgcggcaaacggccggtgatgacgcctggcgacgcggctggctggtgatcgaccgccaaccgctgacgcaggcgctcgcgcagctcaaccgctatcgcgggacccgcattgtggcggttaatcccgcgctaagaacgcgcaccgtgagcggtgtgttcgcgctcaataaactcgacgacggcgtcggcgccattcgtcaggaactctccgcccgccaactgaatctccccggcatcacattgctttactaa igem2sbol 1 iGEM to SBOL conversion Conversion of the iGEM parts registry to SBOL2.1 Chris J.
