This is a biosensor comprising the engineered <i>Salmonella</i> TtrRS twon-component system from <partinfo>BBa_K895003</partinfo> linked to GFP from <partinfo>BBa_K895006</partinfo>, which was originally supplied in <partinfo>BBa_J54103</partinfo>. The concept is that, primarily under anaerobic conditions, the two-component system will sense tetrathionate and induce GFP production.
