Combination of TagRFP, sara degradation sequence, and Copper-inducible promoter.
This part is an assembly of a promoter, a fluorescent protein (brighter than standard GFP), and an ssra degradation tag. It is useful in biosensors to detect the presence of copper ions. Based on a Tinkercell model, the activation of this part can result from as little as 1.3 ppm, and can cause a several micromolar increase in FP production.
