F-Plasmid OriT with Autolysin for Cell Death Induced Conjugation

This part was made using an autolysin from Bacillus subtilis and other parts in the registry.
OriT is the nic region on the F Plasmid that allows for conjugation in the presence of transfer genes encoded in TraJ genes. This OriT gene is followed by an autolysin N-acetylmuramoyl-L-alanine amidase. This codes for an Autolysin that will cause cell death to the cell upon conjugation. This composite part is meant to be incorporated into a plasmid with the TraJ genes knocked out with a kanamycin resistance gene. This will further prevent conjugation by the bacteria.
