Zolotarov, Y. and Str??mvik, M. (2015). De Novo Regulatory Motif Discovery Identifies Significant Motifs in Promoters of Five Classes of Plant Dehydrin Genes. PLoS One, 10 (6).
This DNA sequence is a native promoter region in Physcomitrella patens for a dehydrin protein. Dehydrin proteins are produced when drought stress or salt stress occurs within an organism. The exact mechanism of this promoter is not known, however it has been validated in the literature as a promoter region for a dehydrin protein in Physcomitrella patens.
