Description
This is intended to be a "better" GFP variant over E0040(GFPmut3). It is is closer to EGFP and contains half of the amino acid mutations present in Emerald. See http://openwetware.org/wiki/GFP for more information about GFP.
Notes
6 mutations relative to E0040 were inserted. These change the two amino acids at positions 64 and 65 (wild-type GFP numbering): F64L and S65T. An extra silent mutation in the previous amino acid 63 was introduced at the same time to optimize it slightly better for E. coli.
