Description

This is the DNA enconding a sythetic construct of the Clostridium botulinum neurotoxin type A. (typically used in Botox injections)

WARNING: Botulinum toxin type A is an extremely potent neurotoxin and can lead to widespread muscle paralysis and neuron damage. 200-300 pg/kg is a lethal dose for a human being. When using this part, gain permissin from the federal patent office and practice great caution with promoters and RBS sequences that may be put in a device with it (they should be chosen to limit expression of the protein to safe amounts with respect to the system the part is being inserted into).
