    Homo sapiens FAS receptor. The receptor naturally activates a cascade leading to apoptosis. FAS receptor binds with high affinity to radical nitrogen species (RNS). Future experiments are needed to determine whether or not the DNA surrounding the cds is necessary for proper function.
