    This part generates epidermal growth factor (beta-urogastrone) from Homo sapiens. EGF is a small mitogenic protein that is thought to be involved in mechanisms such as normal cell growth, oncogenesis, and wound healing.

    Notes

    1 EcoRI and 3 PstI sites were removed using GeneDesign. This resulted in a new sequence containing 4868 identites, 9 changes, and 99.8154603239697% identical to the original sequence.
