Description

This part is similar to Bba_T9002 except the reporter is mCherry (Bba_J06702) rather than GFP (Bba_E0240). Transcription of the luxR (receiver protein) gene is regulated by a Ptet promoter. In the presence of high concentrations of OHHL (3OC6HSL), the luxR protein binds to OHHL and upregulated the luxpR promoter, causing transcription of the mCherry reporter.
