Sequences BBa_I741010_sequence (Version 1)

Description

This part codes for the inverse compliment of the XylR open reading frame. XylR is a transcriptional activator that promotes transcrption on the Paf promoter in the presence of xylose isomer xylulose. The inverse compliment is used (for example) when placed on the side of the Paf promoter that transcibes to the "left" (where right is the direction that the majority of iGEM parts are transcribed).
