Description
pBR Biobrick-Tokyo Standard plasmid is made for both Biobrick parts and Tokyo Standard parts.This plasmid has restriction enzyme sites as follows: -Eco-Xba=Sal-bam-Bgl-Mlu=Spe-Pst-
=Sal-bam-Bgl-Mlu= is Tokyo Standard Site. You can use this site to change promoter or RBS to adjust the production of downstream proteins.
We also introduced terminator sequence in the downstream of these sites.
Moreover, we introduced AatII site and DraIII site at both ends. This is for moving construct into another plasmid.
Notes
We removed 1618bp from pBR322 (from SspI to AvaI site). So this plasmid lost Tet resistant gene.This plasmid have Amp resistant gene only.
