Description
This vector is pSB1A2 with its BsaI site removed (BR = BsaI Removed), so it can be used in BsaI Golden Gate Assembly. It also has been verified to have a G at position -1 of the RNA I gene in the pMB1 origin of replication. This site has been identified as a hotspot for mutation of the pMB1 origin (Lin-Chao et al. 1992).Note: Having a G in this position is considered to be the wild type sequence, and is the sequence listed in the Registry for pSB1A2.
