Description

We created a hybrid gene coding for a protein in which Trg (chemoreceptor) contributed its periplasmic and transmembrane domains as well as a short cytoplasmic segment and EnvZ (osmosensor) contributed its cytoplasmic kinase/phosphatase domain.
