Description
The afp1 gene was originally selected for activity against against Paecilomyces variotii, but has been shown to also inhibit the growth of Aspergillus species. It, along with its native RBS, is downstream of the T7 promoter (BBa_I712074).
Notes
It was synthesized with a silent point mutation to remove an illegal PstI site.
