Description
Our part is a coding sequence of ADH2 from Saccharomyces cerevisiae. It codes an enzyme which converts alcohol to corresponding aldehyde. You can simply insert this coding sequence into an expression vector and induce the protein in the host.
Notes
No considerations are taken since no intron exist in this gene when constructing this part. But during protein expression, you may consider codon optimization.
