    Description

    This is the first enzyme in the mevalonate pathway we want to introduce into E. coli. It is needed to turn acetyl-coA into acetoacetyl-coA. The enzyme itself originates from E. coli and is called AtoB (AE014075). An alternative to this would be ERG10 from S. Cerevisiae.
