Description
This is the CDS for TycA_deltaCom module from the Tyrocidine gene cluster of Brevibacillus Parabrevis.
It is the first module in this cluster for the NonRibosomalPeptide-Synthetase of the cyclic decamer Tyrocidine.
This specific module Tyca_deltaCom is responsiple for the binding of the first amino acid D-Phenyl of the NRP.
It consists of the A- (adenylation), PCP- (peptide carrier protein) and the E- (epimerization) domain. After Tyc A follows the TycB gene with three modules.
This bio brick can be used for the design of different NRPS.
It was used in the synthetic Tripeptide I of our project.
Notes
This is just the coding sequence. We sequenced with VR and VF2 primer, not mutations were found.
