Description
LsrR is an transcriptional, intercellular peptide that represses Lsr promoter and prevents the transcription phase in E.coli. This repression is inhibited by autoinducer-2 (AI-2) quorum sensing unit phosphorylated by LsrK enzyme.
Notes
LsrR is inserted to upstream region of Lsr promoter we designed. A constitutive promoter and compatible RBS is attached before the part for coding. Constitutive production of LsrR is planned to repress the Lsr promoter activity. We plan to inhibit this effect by the production of AI-2.
Source
It is originated from E.coli. GeneScript synthesized the sequence we found through our researches.
