Description

LsrK is an intracellular enzyme that phosphorylates autoinducer-2 (AI-2) quorum sensing unit. This reaction ends up with the inhibition of LsrR repression on Lsr promoter. This allows the production of coding region under the promoter.

Notes

Because of the length of this part, we could not combine the LsrR and Lsr promoter and this part, though we planned this. Eventually, we ligated these two parts manually.

Source

It is originated from E.coli. GeneScript synthesized the sequence we found through our researches.
