Description
This part is the open reading frame that expresses the c-Myc protein that can induce the hTERT promoter. The c-Myc coding sequence is also responsible for regulating a large part of cell growth, cell proliferation, cellular metabolism, and apoptosis.
Notes
There is a Pst1 site within the c-Myc coding sequence, so after cloning from the HeLa cell, the PCR sticky end generation(Zeng,1998) method was used to manufacture an EcoR1 site at the beginning, and a Pst1 site at the end of the open reading frame. The reason these sites were generated is in order to place the c-Myc open reading frame on a Biobrick.
Source
This part was cloned from a HeLa cell line.
