Description

This a part consists of a gene of a chitinase enzyme under the regulation of a strong promoter (J23119).

Notes

The artificial synthesis of Cv2935 still unsolved. In this way we had to apmplify the gene directly from the genome of Chromobacterium violaceum

Source

It comes from the article of Lobo et al. 2013. The sequence can be found in the main bioinformatics libraries as well. The real origin of the sequence is the Chromobacterium violaceum gemic DNA (from DSMZ)
Expression and efficient secretion of a functional chitinase from Chromobacterium violaceum in Escherichia coli (Marina Duarte Pinto Lobo et al.; BMC Biotechnology 2013, 13:46 doi:10.1186/1472-6750-13-46)
