Description
Coding a transcription regulator RhlR.
RhlR is necessary for transcriptional activation of the rhlAB genes encoding the rhamnosyltransferase. It also functions as a transcriptional activator of elastase structural gene (lasB). RhlR binds to autoinducer molecules BHL (N-butanoyl-L-homoserine lactone), and HHL (N-hexanoyl-L-homoserine lactone).
This part includes the noncoding sequence of RhlR.
Notes
It includes both the complete coding sequence and part of noncoding sequence of RhlR.
Source
It comes from the genomic sequence of Pseudomonas aeruginosa SQ6.
