Description
CsgBtrunc; containing a C-terminal deletion of amino acids from 133???151 from CsgB(BBa_K1361997), that is lost the ability to attach cell outer membrane, but still can act as nucleator to recruit CsgA into amyloid fiber. It needs CsgEFG genes to cooperate in order to secrete.
Notes
Deletion of amino acids from 133???151 from CsgB may increase its capability as a nucleator
Source
It is collected by PCR from E coli DH5alpha genome.
