Description
BACE2 cleaves within the beta-amyloid monomer and so has been targeted as a potentially hopeful therapeutic in degrading the beta-amyloid plaques of Alzheimer's Disease. So one of our approaches in the Alzheimer's Treatment module is to up-regulate BACE2 expression. This vector contains BACE2 under regulation of the TRE promoter, allowing inducible BACE2 expression.
