Description
TodF Gene from Pseudomonas putida (F1 Strain) is for reaction of 2-hydroxymuconate semialdehyde + H2O <--> formate + 2-oxopent-4-enoate
Notes
2-hydroxymuconate semialdehyde has cytotoxic effects on a cell but with the expession of 2-hydroxy-6-oxohepta-2,4-dienoate hydrolase, in pet28a vector, we are planning to degredate it into 2-oxopent-4-enoate and it is the first step that goes to the pyruvate metabolysm.
