Description

This part is sensitive to long chain acyl-CoA ,with a FadR binding site.
In the absence of long chain acyl-CoA, FadR represses the transcription of RFP.
In the presence of long chain acyl-CoA, FadR dissociates from the binding site so that the transcription of RFP begins.
This part can be used to test the function of FadD. It can also indicates the relative concentration of fatty acid. If you want to use this promoter, choose another part we offer.
