Description
Caprine arthritis encephalitis virus infects goats and sheep. The p-28 domain is from the capsid protein of the virus. Within CAEV the p-28 domain is an antigen recognized by goat and sheep antibodies. In our work we used this domain for antigen-antibody pairing for agglutination assays.
Notes
In order to make sure we did not have a full viral protein we isolated a single domain from the capsid protein of the caprine arthritis encephalitis virus.
