Sequences BBa_K1430001_sequence (Version 1)

Description

What does the marker help synthesize?
L-leucine

Where it can be used?
In LEU2 deficient strains of S. cerevisiae

Can it be used in different yeasts?
yes - This can complement leu1- S. pombe, but mulitple copies are required.

Notes

We mutated the restriction site for EcoR1 in the sequence that is gets compatibel to Prefix/Suffix enzymes. We used PCR approch with primers that add a different base in the recognition site.
