Description

encodes alcohol acetyltransferase I derived from ATF1 from Saccharomyces cerevisiae. ATF1 catalyzes the conversion of isoamyl alcohol to isoamyl acetate. Isoamyl acetate has a banana smell. BBa_B0034(RBS)can not only facilitate the transcription rate but also bind to the other two fragrance generators.

Notes

To fit igem part standard, the circuit is constructed in backbone pSB1C3, chloramphenicol with EcoR1 and Xba1 in front of the part, and Spe1, Pst1 behind the part.
