Description
encodes a branched-chain amino acid transaminase derived from the BAT2 gene from Saccharomyces cerevisiae. BAT2 catalyzes the first step in isoamyl alcohol biosynthesis: conversion of leucine to α-ketoisocaproate via enzymatic reaction. BBa_B0034(RBS)can not only facilitate the transcription rate but also bind to the other two fragrance generators.
Notes
To fit igem part standard, the circuit is constructed in backbone pSB1C3, chloramphenicol with EcoR1 and Xba1 in front of the part, and Spe1, Pst1 behind the part.
Source
branched-chain amino acid transaminase derived from the BAT2 gene from Saccharomyces cerevisiae and BBa_B0034 is from 2014 igem distribution.
