    Description

    Gene sequence contains a high efficiency promoter followed by a high efficiency RBS before gene encoding fluorescent protein mCherry. When expressed by E.coli, cells should appear light pink. This part is used as a positive control for testing cell culture viability.

    Notes

    When adding promoter, the EcoRI site was not maintained in the PCR product/insert, but when ligated to backbone cut with XbaI and PstI, EcoRI is retained.
