    Description

    Our team decided to add LC3 as a new bio-brick into iGEM???s gene library. LC3, microtubule associated protein light chain 3, is a ubiquitin-like protein that binds to autophagosomes (AVs). If we transfect mammalian cells with GFP tagged LC3, we may be able to track and follow the fate of AVs in the cell and to measure autophagic flux.
