    PADH, formaldehyde dehydrogenase from Pseudomonas putida is a formaldehyde dehydrogenase which can oxidize free formaldehyde to formate independent of GSH.
    This is a synthetic formaldehyde dehydrogenase gene which codon were optimized using E.coli abundant codon.

    Notes

    The expression of the highest efficiency in E.coli was obtained by using codon preference of E.coli.
