Description
INPRC is a truncated variant of the inaZ from Pseudomonas syringae ([[Part:BBa_K1896001|Part:BBa_K1896001]]), the N-terminal domain was removed in order to prevent localisation to the outer membrane, while still maintaining ice nucleation activity. No stop codon is present in this part to allow seamless assembly of fusion proteins.
Notes
The repeat domain in this part seems to be impossible to create synthetically so PCR was used instead, with primers binding just outside of the repeat region. The absence of a stop codon allows for seamless assembly of fusion proteins.
