Description

This part is an extended spectrum β ??? lactamase. It is resistant to many beta - lactam antibiotics.
The UiOslo team used this gene to optimalize a diagnostic tool we've developed to detect ESBL producing bacteria in urinary tract infections.

Notes

This gene is designed without any promotor because of safety reasons. It may be resistant to several types of antibiotic thus it needs to be delivered to the registry in a controlled manner.

Source

This part sequence is collected from the strain K71-77 Esterichia Coli and the gene is called
blaCMY-6 class C plasmid ??? mediated AmpC. The sequence was sent to IDT for synthesizing.
