Description

myo-3 gene promoter of Caenorhabditis elegans basically drives the expression of MYO-3 in all muscle of C.elegans. More precisely in the anal depressor, anal sphincter and intestinal muscles and in the contractile sheath in proximal region of the somatic gonad and also expressed in the vulval muscle cells and neighbouring body wall muscle cells.

Notes

Mutagenesis was done to abolish three illegal restriction sites : SpeI (1018-1023), PstI (1212-1217) and XbaI (2025-2030).
