Description
"Deinococcus radiodurans" DNA-binding proteins from starved cells (DpsG), is a DNA binding complex used to sequester DNA to protect it from radical oxygen species formed. This BioBrick was first characterized by the Stanford-Brown 2012 iGEM team (BBa_K847001). Here we have codon-optimized the sequence for expression in E. coli and made it compatible for GoldenGate MoClo as a CD-type part.

During codon optimization any Phytobrick and BioBrick relevant restriction sites were removed from the sequence
