Description

Coding region for ADAR2, an enzyme that performs A to I edits RNA with a 2xXTEN (88 nucleotide) linker. The one extension linker sequence is TCTGGCTCAGAAACGCCCGGTACGTCCGAGTCTGCAACACCAGAAAGC. The 2xXTEN is the one extension sequence twice. ADAR2 with a 1xXTEN is BBa_K2083006, and the 3xXTEN can be found here BBa_K2083008. I, Inosine, is read as a G.

Notes

We preformed codon optimization to get rid of any EcoRI, XbaI, SpeI, and PstI sites.

Source

This part is derived from the sequence of human ADAR2.
