Description
This part contains a GST label, a thrombin restriction enzyme cleavage site and a GFP detector. The GST label can be used to purify proteins. The thrombin site can be used to digest the part into two. The GFP detector can verify where the part is being expressed or not. This part can be used to synthesize other parts that require to be purified and be checked for its expression.
Notes
To insert the part into vectors, such as the ones provided by the iGEM competition, extra sticky ends must be added. The sequences of the sticky ends are added to the primers of the parts when performing PCR.

The GST label comes from the vector pGEX-KG in E. coli. The GFP part comes from Aequorea victoria.
