Description
This device shows the activity of Cre on variant lox sites with three point mutations in the inverted arm region. If these arms are compatible, as they should be, then RFP will be excised and cells will no longer glow red in the presence of Cre.
Notes
pTet is a moderate promter and floxed RFP is an immediate indicator of excision.
