Description
Phycobilin is chromophores (light-capturing molecules) found in cyanobacteria and in the chloroplasts of red algae, glaucophytes and some cryptomonads (though not in green algae and higher plants), used in light sensor.
Notes
Features: heme oxygenase coding sequence 63 to 629; pcyA coding sequence 650 to 1396; terminator B0015 bases 1403 to 1502 (according to the K098010 annotation, but no scar!).
Notes: the start sequence is not quite as K098010(made by Havard 2008). Basically just the first 5 bases are different from K098010, of which the first 5 bases are ctgat. Also base 24 is T rather than G. All of these are absolutely clear on the chromatogram.
Source
This is identical to K098010, deposited by Harvard 2008, except that we have transferred it to pSB1C3.
