    Description

    Construct assembled to allow the quantitative analysis of the heat shock promoter, K338001. Produces GFP in response to low-temperature heat shock.

    Notes

    The type of GFP used in this construct happens to have a very long half life. If growing cultures for fluorescence measurements, grow at 30°C - any higher will activate the promoter, causing GFP to be produced.
