Description

GtgR is homologous to GogR and its expression is controlled by the pR promoter and for repression gtgR can bind to three different operator sites OR1, OR2, OR3 on either prophage, which also overlap with the pR promoter, so pRM and pR share certain operator sites.

Notes

No problems expressing gtgR with a strong RBS from a high copy number plasmid.
